Meet Richard- you would never know that he spent nine years in a puppy mill before he came into our rescue. He acts like he is 2- he has so much love to share with you and loves to play- as he is making up for all the years he never was able to enjoy toys, walks and love from people. Richard is tired of living with other dogs in his life- for nine years, he was surrounded by over 258 dogs in the mill that he came from. He adores people and this new thing in his life- love from them, he really does not like to share love with other dogs in the same house. Richard is fine walking by other dogs but not sharing his humans with them. He would not enjoy going to a dog park but would love going for a walk with his people or hanging out in the yard with them. He is great with older children and is very affectionate. He is doing great with his potty training, all his shots are up to date, microchipped, neutered and comes with a dog bed, leash, collar and some of the food he is currently eating.

UPDATE: We have learned that Richard's thyroid is low and needs some help so he is on medicine which is a pill twice a day that will cost about $10.00 a month. He will require a couple of times a year to have blood work done to make sure the medicine is at the correct dosage.

Sophie

Sophie is 4 1/2 years old and has lived her life as a princess and would benefit dearly with a forever home that has french bulldog experience. She knows how to get away with things by using her cuteness to her advantage! Her first owner passed from cancer and was sold to a second owner who only had her 6 months before realizing that as cute as Sophie is - she is a little spitfire and due to not ever being socialized with other dogs- can be a handful on walks when approaching other dogs- especially for an elderly person.

Faith

Faith is a 2 year old young spirited frenchie girl who was rescued from life in a puppy mill, she was born with no knee caps in her rear legs and yet, they had her in a small cage pumping out litters of puppies for them. When she came into our rescue she had sores on her legs from laying in such a small wire cage and no chance to develop muscles. Since she has been in our care- her sores have heeled, she has gotten stronger and learnt how to walk and run without the ability to bend her back legs. This is how life will be for Faith but she does not let that slow her down.

Hank

Hank is one handsome frenchie boy who is looking for a home that will give him lots of love. He is starting to stand a little and using his rear legs from time to time and may walk one day but he loves his wheelchair too. Hank came into rescue because his owner could not afford therapy for him- Hank woke up one day and was unable to walk.
