Hi my name is Theo, I am an 8 year old Brindle French Bulldog. I am currently living with my foster mom and dad and their 7 month old Frenchie and although I'm much older than him we play so well together and he often gets tired before I do. I'm kind of a tough guy, I love going for walks and checking out other dogs and sometimes I can be a bit of a bully but it's only because I want them to run so I can chase them, I’m very good at listening to my mom and dad when they tell me to sit and stop barking at other dogs in the dog park - sometimes I can't help it - I see a dog and I want to bark at him, it's just my thing.

I love being petted and I love hanging out with my foster mom and dad, I can sleep forever in their bed and get occasional tummy rubs , they're my favorite. I have moved to 3 different families in my 8 years so I get kind of nervous because I just want to stay in one place, so in the beginning I may pee out of nerves and excitement, but I promise I am potty trained it just takes a week or so for me to re-learn the boundaries especially when my new home smells like puppy wee.

When my foster mom and dad leave the house I like to lie to the left of the door and wait for them to come home , that way I'm the first thing they see as they enter and I get lots of kisses and hugs and scratches. I know I'm 8 years old but I feel like I'm still a puppy, I also think I'm a pretty nifty guard dog , I only bark when I hear suspicious sounds outside other than that I keep quiet and calm. I'm loyal and loving and pretty much the poster boy for French Bulldogs, I'm pretty wonderful and full of love and I just need someone who will give me as much love as I give them.

When my foster mom got me I had ear infections, a crusty nose, allergy irritations under my arm pits and blood shot eyes probably from allergies, but since I've been switched to a delicious new grain free diet , my arm pits cleared right up , my eyes are shiny and white. My foster mom put some aquaphor on my nose and it is moist and pretty like it used to be and I must admit I was a bit heavy from being free fed - not the best option for a Frenchie as we can eat and eat till the cows come home. Now I have a structured breakfast and dinner time and I am looking quite trim and handsome I think. I'm a little grey around the beard but I prefer to think of it as the George Clooney look rather than old age.

I am neutered and up to date on my shots. My adoption fee is $150.00.

Sophie

Sophie is 4 1/2 years old and has lived her life as a princess and would benefit dearly with a forever home that has french bulldog experience. She knows how to get away with things by using her cuteness to her advantage! Her first owner passed from cancer and was sold to a second owner who only had her 6 months before realizing that as cute as Sophie is - she is a little spitfire and due to not ever being socialized with other dogs- can be a handful on walks when approaching other dogs- especially for an elderly person.

Faith

Faith is a 2 year old young spirited frenchie girl who was rescued from life in a puppy mill, she was born with no knee caps in her rear legs and yet, they had her in a small cage pumping out litters of puppies for them. When she came into our rescue she had sores on her legs from laying in such a small wire cage and no chance to develop muscles. Since she has been in our care- her sores have heeled, she has gotten stronger and learnt how to walk and run without the ability to bend her back legs. This is how life will be for Faith but she does not let that slow her down.

Hank

Hank is one handsome frenchie boy who is looking for a home that will give him lots of love. He is starting to stand a little and using his rear legs from time to time and may walk one day but he loves his wheelchair too. Hank came into rescue because his owner could not afford therapy for him- Hank woke up one day and was unable to walk.
