Bubba and Suki were taken in by a family member when their original owner passed. After six months in their new home, it was getting to be too much for this family that took them in because their own pets were incompatible to the frenchies and they had to put gates up all throughout their home. They felt after trying so hard-it wasn’t fair to the Frenchies nor to their own pets who were senior dogs and had health issues.
Bubba is 2 years old and does great with other frenchies, preferably female ones. He is good with strangers and new situations, loves travelling in a car and is pretty good with getting baths when needed. He isn’t a fan of nail trims but did pretty good with the vet doing them. He’s a typical Frenchie and is very mellow and loves his naps. He’s a sweet guy who loves to cuddle with his humans. He is 95% house trained and is crate trained, but he is not a fan of the crate if you are home. At night, if you put a treat in his crate and tell him night night- he will go right in and go to bed. He can be reactive on a leash to other dogs, so if you live in an area with a lot of dogs that go for walk, you need to be aware of this. He loves to lunge at squirrels when on walks and has a typical frenchie prey drive. Bubba easily adapts to new living situations. His previous owner had passed away and Bubba entered foster care with minimal issues. He makes himself right at home wherever he goes! He’s a good “security”dog and will bark at all passersby while looking out the windows -so apt or condo life my not be ideal for him. He is a big love bug and loves attention. Bubba recently had his nares and palate surgery to help him breath better and by the time the perfect applicant applies for him and his sister, he should be all healed and ready to go. He is neutered already, microchipped, vaccines are current and hw/fecal both negative and current on preventatives.
Suki is a very sweet, super smart, beautiful, playful and inquisitive girl 3 year old. She is very aware of her surroundings and notices every sound and movement around her. She loves to play fetch with her mini tennis balls and can play for as long as her future owner will allow! Suki is extremely athletic and would do great with a fenced yard. She likes to go on walks and is doing great with her potty training. She is oftentimes hesitant with new people until she gets to know you. Once she spends enough time with you and develops trust, she lets her guard down and her personality starts to shine through. Suki gets along with other dogs but can sometimes be protective over the people she loves and her toys. She loves belly rubs and will take them at any time of the day. Suki is a good eater and loves her treats. She loves to cuddle in soft blankets. She knows how to sit and may be able to be taught more commands by her future owner due to her intellect. Suki loves to watch tv and will bark if she shes any kind of animal on tv. She does great in her crate and will greet you with tushy wiggles and kisses. Suki is very cautious and may take her time to develop trust with you until she feels comfortable to let her guard down. When she trusts you, she is extremely loyal. Anyone will be extremely lucky to welcome this incredible girl into their life!! When she is with her brother, she is much more trusting of new people- he is her gauge on if someone is good or not. She too likes car rides-not too bad with baths when needed and hates nail trims but was good with our vets for a nail trim. She is potty and crate trained as well as trained to ring the bells on the door to go potty. She can be possessive with benebones around her brother so they only get them when they’re in their crates. They are also feed separate of each other in their crates. Suki does appreciate down time in her crate with her little brother gets a tad to pesty for her liking. She did sleep in her owners bed at night while her brother slept in his crate. She can also be a tad reactive to other dogs while on walks as well as Bubba. She is spayed- microchipped, up to date on her vaccines- hw/fecal negative and current on her preventatives.
Adoption fee for Suki and Bubba as a pair is $1750. The come with leashes and harness, beds, current food, 2 months supply of preventative for each of them and a few other items as well.
If you feel you are the ideal forever home for this pair- please submit an application for these gorgeous frenchies. We promised the owner we would try and find them a home together and if that didn’t work, we would then find them separate forever homes.
Hopefully someone will want to adopt them together-so at this time- we are only accepting applications for them as a pair.
