Hello Frenchie lovers-my name is Cielo- I am 6 years old and petite and I KNOW my forever home is out there BUT I do come with some baggage-so it is important to read my bio before thinking it might be you and applying for me. I was up for adoption before but my allergies flared up and the rescue vets helped me get that under control. It is important that whomever adopts me has experience with allergies AND is willing to cook for me-because now the ideal meal for both my allergies and my tummy is cooked pork tenderloin and sweet potatoes- I WILL watch closely and be at your side while you cook for me to give you my support and love in return.
My foster dad use to work from home and was always there for me- but now he has a new job and my foster mom travels for work often with her new job and this has caused me to have some separation anxiety-so my forever home needs to have patience and understanding and willing to help me through my fear of being left alone. When you are home-I will be your constant shadow and adore cuddling up with you but when you leave me- I scream like an alien creature not from this world- SO that means I would not do good in an apt -condo or any residence that shares a wall-floor or ceiling with other residents. I know with the right guidance and support, I can work through this! I am very TREAT motivated and want to learn, I need to build some self confidence so I am not afraid of being left behind.
At night time- ideally I would sleep in bed next to you or on the floor in my crate or bed in your bedroom-that is where I feel safe and can make sure you won’t leave me.
I am house trained and will go to the door when I have to go potty, but if you miss me at the door, I may have an accident- I mean I am tiny so my bladder can only hold it for so long while waiting at the door to go out! I am good with baths if my allergies act up in the summer.
Here is another thing though- I DON’T like other dogs OR children. My owners had a baby and I found out children are NOT my thing at all!
So now that I have spilled the beans about my baggage- once I feel safe and secure with you and learn with your help that you will always come back to me when you leave- if you work from home and go out occasionally and would love a little 17 lb Frenchie to curl up with and watch tv- ( I am not picky, as long as you are near- you can watch anything) and would love to see the silly puppy side of me- as I love my toys- please think about applying to be my forever home.
My adoption fee is $650- I am spayed, had my teeth cleaned, palate and nare surgery done and am up to date on all my vetting and microchipped. Will you be my forever home?
