Eliza is a 5 year old female French Bulldog looking for her forever home. She is on the taller side for a frenchie and weighs 33 lbs. Eliza was surrendered by her family, due to the male dogs in the home bullying her. Eliza can be selective with her canine friends and most likely would do best in a home as the only dog. She would also be best with dog savvy older kids, instead of young children. Eliza is a sweet girl and loves to cuddle with you on the couch. She will also follow you around the house to see what you are up to. She loves to burrow in any and all blankets. Eliza is good on a leash for walks but can be reactive when she sees a squirrel or another dog, so living in an area with other dogs could be challenging for her. She is house trained as well as crate trained. Before entering her crate, she will demand that the tummy tax be paid to get belly rubs. She is very food motivated and learns new things if treats are involved. She is quick to help clean the floor of any dropped food, so again, young children who may accidentally drop food or sneak food to her is not ideal in her forever home.. She is a smart girl and knows how to sit, give paw and roll over, just remember-she loves treats! Changing homes was a challenge for Eliza but with a consistent routine and plenty of love and patience she was able to learn to trust and thrive in her foster home. Eliza had surgery on her nares recently and she is loving her new sense of smell. She loves sniffing everything and anything on her walks.
She is currently on a prescription kibble for urinary tract health and she is also on a daily apoquel for her allergies.
Eliza is spayed- microchipped- up to date on her vaccines and will come with her bed- harness- leash and some of her current food. She also is negative for heartworm and current on her hw preventative and fecal tested negative as well. Eliza’s adoption fee is $750- could you be the right forever home for this girl who loves to cuddle and leave her past behind her?
