Harley is a 7-year-old sweetheart with plenty of spunk and a heart full of love to give. Weighing in at 29 pounds, she’s a medium-sized bundle of charm who thrives on human attention and enjoys being the center of your world. Harley loves to stay close to her people, so be prepared for a loyal shadow who’ll happily supervise your every move. She gets along fine with other dogs but truly shines as the star of her home. Harley is good on a leash and enjoys her walks, though she’s still mastering leash manners and occasionally pulls.
This smart girl is housebroken and spends most of her day napping, making her a great companion for a relaxed household. Harley seems to have some hearing loss and doesn’t always respond to her name, but loud noises usually grab her attention when needed. Recently, Harley underwent surgery on her nares and palate, and she’s thriving with her improved breathing! She’s currently on prescription kibble, daily Apoquel for allergies, and medication to manage her sensitive tummy. To keep her feeling her best, Harley will need to stick to her special diet in her forever home—extra treats and snacks are a no-go for this girl-BUT she does think her kibble is a great treat too!
Harley’s ideal home would include humans who work from home or are around often, as she isn’t a fan of being left alone for long periods. She may even serenade you with her soulful “singing” if she gets too lonely. If you’re looking for a loving, spunky companion who adores being by your side, Harley may be the perfect addition to your family! Harley did have two growths removed that were cancerous but there were clean margins and the recommendations from the specialist is to just keep a close eye on any new lumps or bumps and give her benedryl daily.
Harley does enjoy the company and playing with the resident frenchie in her foster home so a home with a female frenchie would be her wish in a forever home. She is good for baths- car rides and with children as well and is a big cuddle buddy and sweatheart looking for her ideal forever home.
She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines and is microchipped and comes with her bed, leash, harness and some of her current food. Her adoption fee is $550.
