Hi, I’m Peaches and I’m a 2 year old 20 lbs little nugget looking for my forever home!
I was living with my dog mom in a breeding situation and a good Samaritan took us in so we would not be bred any longer and called CFBR. Unfortunately my mom didn’t make it, but I’m surviving and thriving. I’m a sassy, sweet, smart and snuggly girl who is always busy doing something. Here are a few things about me –
Important facts:
- Love walks, working on not pulling on the leash or getting too excited about seeing other dogs (I want to meet everyone!)
- Potty in the backyard/ 80% potty trained – sometimes I pee in the house if I don’t get to go outside often enough
- I have lots of energy, I love chasing balls, going outside, and chewing on benebones!
- I love my frenchie foster brother, but don’t like our neighbor dog who always barks at me – I squawk right back at him! I did well when I stayed at a home with 3 other frenchies for a week
- I used to drink all the water I could get, but now that I know that water will always be around, I drink less, but still more than the average dog, which is probably why I have to go out a lot.
- I haven’t been around kids in my foster home, but I’d probably do well with older ones.
My likes:
Snuggles with you, benebones,
chasing balls,
having well behaved frenchie sibling(s) to hang out with,
belly rubs,
being outside if you are outside with me,
and being wherever the action is at!
My dislikes:
My x-pen, although I do sleep in it at night. Letting me sleep in your bed would be a bonus!
My people being away – need a home where someone is home most of the time – I hate being alone and will squawk, but I’m working on it- I am working on my separation anxiety- love to be around my people always!
In case you can’t tell- I like getting my way – I’m a frenchie!
Now that you’ve read a bit about me, here is what I’m looking for in my ideal home:
experienced frenchie parent(s) would be great, I’ve had health issues (overeating, drinking too much water, ear infection, a hazy spot on one of my eyes that doesn’t significantly affect my vision, monthly allergy shots for itchy paws, and calming chews to help me chill) that are under control and need to stay that way so I can continue to thrive!
I’d love a dog sibling(s) to be around – not one that will bark at me a lot or try to dominate me though! I’d probably be fine as an only dog too as long as I’m not alone for long stretches of time.
Somewhat active family, I have a lot of energy, keeping me active and learning is important for my overall health and happiness!
Fenced in yard for play and potty, as I only go potty on a leash walk occasionally – and I love to go check out what’s happening outside as much as you’ll let me.
A family with patience; I’m still learning, I will need time to adapt to your routine, especially potty training, leash training, not stealing bones, and practicing being calm when I’m alone or in my x-pen. I do stairs well and ride nice in the car if I am in a crate.
I can’t wait to love and snuggle with my forever family! Could it be you?
Peaches adoption fee is $1000- she is current on all vaccines and heartworm preventative. She is spayed- had her palate done as well as a dental. Microchipped and comes with her bed- leash and harness.
