Meet Zyla!
Breed: Frenchton (French Bulldog x Boston Terrier)
*Sex: Female, spayed
Age: 3 years
Weight: 23 lbs
Medical: Up to date on vaccines; has allergies during spring and summer.
Good with Dogs: Yes! Zyla would thrive best with a male dog or a non-dominant/submissive female. Ideally, her companion should be calm and not prone to anxiety. If another dog gets excited and barking-she WILL react to their behavior.
Good with Cats: Most likely no because she has a high prey drive.
Good with Kids: Absolutely! Zyla has been around children as young as 3 and does great with them.
Potty Trained: Mostly! Zyla is about 80% potty trained. She may have occasional accidents, particularly if there’s a soft blanket on the couch or clothes on the floor.
Yard: A fenced-in yard is preferred but not required.
Crate Trained: Yes!
Car Rides: Zyla does wonderfully in the car!
Loud Noises: Not a problem for her.
Bath: She enjoys bath time and doesn’t mind it at all.
Other Issues: Zyla can be leash reactive, so consistent training will help.
Zyla’s Story
Zyla came to rescue as an owner surrender from a very loving home. Unfortunately, her previous family had to let her go due to a child’s allergies and sometimes not getting along with their other dog, a boxer.
Her foster mom describes Zyla as a sweet and loving little girl with plenty of spunk! She thrives on attention and adores back scratches. Zyla is an excellent cuddle buddy and loves to play tug-of-war, chase tennis balls, and tackle her food puzzles. With her playful nature, she loves to run, and a fenced-in yard would be perfect for her to showcase her speed.
Zyla will be 4 this Nov- her adoption fee is $850 – she is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines- she will come with her bed, leash and harness and some of her current food.
If you’re looking for a spirited companion who brings joy and energy into your life, Zyla might just be the perfect match!
